Terms and Conditions
Following is a summary of the terms and conditions that apply to all purchases made from Emergency Risk Management Queensland.
1. Orders & Delivery:
All orders placed through this website are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Emergency Risk Management Queensland. Generally orders will be provisioned and fulfilled within one business day or if received out of business hours then the next business day. If there are any delays with the order placed a member of the Emergency Risk Management Queensland customer service team will contact you to advise of the delay and expected delivery date.
Goods are sent via TNT or where TNT is not available (i.e. residential addresses) Australia Post. Standard delivery is expected to be between 2 and 10 business days.
Emergency Risk Management Queensland may vary prices in the event of price changes or mistakes made by suppliers on reasonable prior notice to you. Emergency Risk Management Queensland may refuse an order for any product at its sole discretion if it believes that the order contravenes Emergency Risk Management Queensland Acceptable Usage Policy or might be a fraudulent order.
2. Returns & Refunds
In the event of a fault with any of the goods supplied Emergency Risk Management Queensland will arrange a refund or replacement of the goods.
If you would like to arrange return of the goods and a refund due to a change of mind this will be at the discretion of Emergency Risk Management Queensland. If accepted, you the customer will be responsible for the cost of any freight and a $20 restocking fee.
Any refunds that are required will be processed only to the same method used to make the order. This includes to the same credit card number / account if the payment was by credit card. In the event that the card is lost, stolen or cancelled Emergency Risk Management Queensland may require confirmation from the card provider or issuing bank for any change.
Full refunds including shipping will be provided for all goods with major faults/defects as per Australian Consumer Law.
3. Prices, Payment & Credit Card Information
For each order, you must pay:

Payment must be cleared before the goods are dispatched unless you have approved credit facilities with Emergency Risk Management Queensland.

5. Your Account
You agree to take responsibility for the safekeeping of your user name and password. You are liable if your user name or password is used by an unauthorised person. All purchases, and these terms and conditions, are subject to the laws of Victoria, Australia.
11. Credit Card Data and PCI DSS Compliance
Emergency Risk Management Queensland hosting environment and ecommerce software packages are Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant, you can find out more from their website at www.pcisecuritystandards.org.
Our website and hosting service provider undergoes an annual PCI compliance review using a Qualified Security Audit company which is BEA Systems.
PCI DSS requires that you do not store credit card data unencrypted on your website. This includes where credit card information might be added to notes on orders or customer records. Emergency Risk Management Queensland will scan for credit card data on a regular basis and hash out (destroy) the card number that is stored. Emergency Risk Management Queensland reserves the right, without recourse, to take offline any online store that is found to be storing credit card data until the situation has been rectified.
